Wizard101 Update! I'm Better Than Everyone Else! Except I'm A Peasant

So, as I'm sure you guys can guess, I've been playing myself some Wizard101 with one of my best friends, Samantha. Well, I think it's important to recognize my accomplishment of BEATING HER!! Not really, BUT we are now the same level almost :D I'm currently in Azteca.

It's actually not that big of a deal. Truthfully, I caught up a few weeks ago and have been in questing limbo since because I want to do the quests at the same time she does them. However, upon finally surpassing level 90, I've come to realize one very poignant fact. My gear suuuucks. I used to be so proud of it, SO PROUD. I was a freaking walking Tower spell with 44% damage resistance! This sense of accomplishment was heightened by the fact that I was an Ice wizard. I felt that I alone could obtain this wonderful amount of defense, and all the other schools of magic lagged behind in all of my level 50-something gear glory. That's right, my gear was, and still is, seriously underleveled, BUT I DIDN'T CARE. My defense made me feel supreme!

And then I discovered Waterworks gear, which not only naturally comes with defense for everyone, but also significantly improves upon other stats as well. I was forced realized that not only was my wizard no longer the mega-awesome character I thought he was but also had to face the horror that I'm a filthy casual peasant who actually has zero idea about the deeper aspects of the game. In short, I am shamed! Banish me to the outskirts of gamerdom! How could this happen!? TO ME?!?

Minecraft: Snapshot 15w31a and THE ENNNND of Your Wait

Two days ago Mojang released their first snapshot (and shortly after second and third) for Minecraft since they were bought by Microsoft in the Fall of last year. It has been a long, LONG time. It feels like it has almost been a year now (345 days according to the wiki). While the silence had me worried for a little bit there, Minecraft's upcoming 1.9 Battle Update has me so excited! Already with this first snapshot we have a few new things, and considering how long they've been silent, I'm sure there are PLENTY MORE to come. Look at Minecraft's Gamepedia wiki yourself and see the many potential upcoming shinies! "Potential" because they may not be able to do everything.

For those of you who aren't sure what a Minecraft snapshot is, it's basically an experimental build that can be downloaded and offers the chance to preview and test out some things that Mojang releases. It is by no means the entire upcoming update for Minecraft. The content is just released slowly in chunks and worked on slowly (or quickly with smaller updates).

So I chose to adventure into lands unknown to discover some of the new stuff that was uploaded. Of those things, many new shinies await us in The End. So I went to The End and had a grand old time!

Fallout 3: Explosives are Your Friend

THAT'S RIGHT, FOLKS! Grab that frag grenade and cuddle right with it. It's the only thing that'll keep you warm at night and mean it. Too much? Whilst playing through Fallout 3, I have discovered the true pleasure of throwing a grenade into a crowd of enemies, hearing them scream in horror, and watching it explode as it turns them into little super mutant bits. That's right! I've become a psychopath.

On a less crazy note, I had completely been ignoring the use of explosives in Fallout 3 until late last year. I didn't realize their true damage potential and thought of them as something annoying that I kept finding laying around.

It all began in Grayditch.

                                                     Grayditch.

                                                                             Grayditch.

*flashback noises*

Updating update: The Movie

Greetings there!

I want to apologize for me not uploading anything in the recent months. I hit a block of sorts, but now that's all about to change! I give you:

That's right, folks! I started my own youtube channel. I plan to use it in tandem with my blog to give both clips that help explain further my points as well as have its own gameplay videos and footage. I am so excited! I thought I'd have to wait until I got a new computer, but it turns out that I don't!!! I love you Lappy the Laptop.

I'm definitely more nervous when I'm recording video, and I even forgot a few points in the introduction, but I know with time that will fade away. I can't wait to see what comes with this, and I'm hoping that it'll lead to plenty more content in the near future. I hope you all are ready! I'm about to hit you like a pokeball!
